R3 Premium Self Adhesive Film (For Fine Detail and Durability)
R3 (3mil) & R4 (4 mil), R5 5 (mil) photo resist films make decorative sandcarving simple, productive and enjoyable. R3, R4 & R5 are engineered for professional sandcarving applications in which quick-processing and high production are critical. R3, R4 & R5 promote efficient mask production by eliminating the time-consuming and messy application of adhesive. R3, R4 & R5 have an inherent adhesive that does not activate until the films are washed out. Even when the adhesive is active, R3, R4 & R5 films do not feel “sticky.” This quality makes these films repositionable until firmly applied to a substrate. The R3 formulation allows the achievement of line resolution needed for fine detailed sandcarving masks. R5 is constructed with excellent durability allowing deeper carving. Remove R3, R4 & R5 with water, or by simply peeling it off the substrate.

How it works… Begin by printing a positive image of your artwork. AccuArt™ Water Resistant Inkjet products are recommended for best results. Next, using UV light, expose your artwork to the R3, R4 & R5 Photo Resist Film. When exposure is complete, develop with pressurized water. Once dry, apply the self-adhesive side of the film to your substrate. After removing the shiny carrier sheet, you are ready to sandcarve.For convenient storage, apply processed and dried R3, R4 & R5 Photo Resist Film to Silicon Release paper
